The anticipation is growing for the “ROLLS ROYCE TOUR”, which in October will bring the revolutionary energy of Achile Lauro to the best clubs in Italy. On Sunday 13 October he is expected in concert in Naples, at the Casa della Musica (via Barbagallo in Fuorigrotta – c/o Palapartenope), for the last date of his tour that will touch 6 Italian cities. A journey that will start from Florence and then reach Rome, Milan, Bologna, Venaria Reale (TO) and the grand finale in Naples, the only stop in southern Italy.
It will be a 360° show with Achille Lauro in the role of grand master of ceremonies, immersing his hits in a stage performance with attention to detail between lights, scenography and clothes. Alongside him, there will be Boss Doms and the band formed by Nicola Iazzi on bass, Mattia Tedesco on guitars and Marco Lanciotti on drums.
To anticipate the long-awaited “Rolls Royce Tour”, “Delinquente” was released on September 27th, the new single from his latest album “1969” (Sony Music Italy). An overwhelming Rock and Roll song, which pushes the rhythm from the opening and which outlines the self-portrait of an artist who does not want and cannot be labeled. In the meantime, there is already talk of the next album entitled “1990” recently announced by Achille Lauro himself.
“From 1969 we move to 1990, we are traveling through the ages. I am very happy, because before we were inspired by the monuments of world music, and now we have moved on to old nostalgia. Expect the end of the world”.
Born in 1990, the Roman artist (aka Lauro De Marinis) was immediately praised by the national rap scene with his first mixtape “Barabba” (2013). Flanked by his team of Beatmakers including Boss Doms, Banf, Frenetik & Orang3, 3D, Dogslife, with the management Roccia Music he released “Achille Idol – Immortale” (2014), the EP “Young Crazy” (2015) and his first solo album “Dio C'è” (2015). In the summer of 2016 he became an entrepreneur by founding the collective No Face with DJ Pitch8 and on November 11 he released “Ragazzi Madre”, presented throughout Italy with the related tour.
In October 2017 he signed with Sony Music and participated in the program Pechino Express with his producer Boss Doms. In December 2017 the first single for Sony Music “Non sei come me” was released and on June 22, 2018 the album “Pour l'amor” (prod. Boss Doms). In November the new collaboration Anna Tatangelo ft Achille Lauro and Boss Doms was born, through the provocative rearrangement of the hit “Ragazza di periferia”. After the success of his latest album, Lauro treads the stages of all Italy with a tour lasting more than a year, which takes him to Rome on the stage of the Circo Massimo, for the historic New Year's concert.
In February 2019, Achille Lauro was one of the protagonists of the Sanremo Festival with the song “Rolls Royce”. In the same year he published his book “Sono io Amleto” (Rizzoli) – which recorded 3 editions in a short time since its release – and the album “1969” containing, in addition to the song presented at Sanremo, also the single “C'est la vie”.
The “Rolls Royce Tour” is produced by Friends & Partners. Tickets for the Naples concert, organized by Veragency, are available in advance on www.ticketone.it and at the usual points of sale. For information: For information: concerti@veragency.com – tel. 0817284523- www.veragency.it.
