The adventure of the Fly Motor Show Thoms Nicoll team in the Italian Aquabike Championship continues with three more podiums, despite the absence of Salvatore Ancora due to injury. In the sea of Anzio, a double came in the F1 Veteran category, with first place conquered by Sabato Pontecorvo and second by Richard Ingarra. Pontecorvo himself climbed onto the second step of the podium also in the F2 class race, in which the bronze was only just missed by Salvatore Babo, who finished in fourth place and one step away from the podium. Prestigious results that add to those obtained in the previous races and that give hope in view of the closing of the Italian Championship, scheduled for Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September at the Varcadoro lido in Giugliano, in front of their fans.
"We are satisfied with the growth of the team, which is bringing home significant results at its first experience, growing race after race - explains Salvatore Babo -. Now we will focus on the race that will take place in Campania and which for us represents a fundamental event, because we will be able to race in front of our fans aiming to achieve prestigious successes. Without forgetting, however, that aquabike is not just competition but offers many opportunities to enthusiasts. In fact, at the end of August, we organized a day of motorcycle therapy in Monte di Procida with the Pro Handicap association, taking some disabled kids to the sea on our motorcycles and donating the proceeds of the Ferragosto Boat Party that we had organized to the association".
