“La stanza nel cuore” (Graus Edizioni), the first novel by writer Anna Grazioso, will be presented on Saturday 28 September at 19.00:XNUMX pm in Aversa, in the splendid setting of Palazzo Cascella.
Grazioso's sincere pen narrates the daily life of Agnese, a young woman struggling with married life, a university course to complete and imminent motherhood. A normal life one might think, but behind the apparent stability hides a past made of uncompromising paternal impositions, maternal compliance, problems of alcoholism and violence within the domestic walls. A difficult experience, one that puts physical and especially psychological resistance to the test and that seems to be able or willing to destroy those feelings and balances on which daily life rests. Agnese, therefore, because she is unable to react, prefers to escape by taking refuge in a world of her own, far from abuse and suffering, where she can be the master and protagonist of her life: a room in the heart.
