A 33-year-old farmer with no criminal record from Tufino was authorized, by virtue of law 252/2016, to grow cannabis with a THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) level between 0,2 and 0,6%. This year, however, as the Carabinieri of the Carbonara di Nola station discovered, he had not started any cultivation but had a lot of marijuana at home.

The marijuana, moreover, was without labels that would trace its origin and guarantee that the THC level was that permitted by law. All the narcotics were seized, the farmer was arrested for cultivation and possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing. He was tried with a summary trial and the judge validated the arrest but no measures were applied.
