The State Police of the Caserta Police Headquarters have executed a house arrest order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, against the owner of a riding stable in the Caserta area. He is considered a serious suspect in aggravated and sustained sexual assault against several minors. The investigation began with a report from a non-profit organization, received by the Caserta Police Headquarters, detailing a plea for help from a minor who frequented the facility. In the report, the young woman described long-standing sexual abuse and harassment at the hands of the owner of the riding stable, where she had been a student for several years. The investigation, conducted by the Caserta Flying Squad, coordinated by the Public Prosecutors of the "vulnerable groups" pool of this Public Prosecutor's Office, has allowed the collection of very serious circumstantial evidence and numerous objective corroborations against the suspect, not only for the reported conduct, but also for similar acts committed against six other girls, all minors, also students at the riding stables. This has revealed a disturbing picture, given that the entrepreneur, who also worked as a "riding instructor" at his own facility, abused his role for years, forcing the girls to endure abuse, such as groping, rubbing, and forced kissing. Given the extremely serious circumstantial evidence gathered, this Public Prosecutor's Office has formally requested a precautionary measure, which resulted in the issuance of the restraining order described above. After completing the required legal procedures, the suspect was placed under house arrest at his home. On that occasion, a Beretta 12-gauge hunting shotgun that the arrested man was legally in possession of was confiscated as a precaution.

Casal di Principe: A raid on a "ghost" car rental company: unregistered customers, seizure triggered.

A 31-year-old local man is in trouble: he failed to provide driver information to the Interior Ministry's anti-terrorism portal. Carabinieri have sealed off six vehicles and the storage area.

Casal di Principe – A crackdown on controls to ensure traceability and security has uncovered a rental system operated in complete disregard of current regulations. This is the outcome of the operation conducted on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 12, by the Carabinieri of the Casal di Principe station. The officers conducted a targeted raid inside a local car rental company, uncovering serious administrative and criminal irregularities that led to the owner being reported and the massive seizure of vehicles and documentation. The CARGOS system ignored. At the center of the case is a 31-year-old local businessman, the legal representative of the business, who has been reported at large. The charge is specific: violation of Article 17 of Legislative Decree no. 113/2018 (the so-called Security Decree), later converted into Law no. 132/2018. The investigation revealed that the man systematically failed to register customers' identity documents. Therefore, those renting cars were not reported through the Ministry of the Interior's web portal called "CARGOS." This platform is essential for law enforcement, as it is required by law for counterterrorism purposes.
