At the Medical Care Award, President Raffaele Canneva honors Viviana Monica Chirchiano. The award ceremony for activists in the Humanization of Medicine and Care project, sponsored by the Campania Regional Council and the City of Naples, was held on September 15th at the Medical Care headquarters in Naples. The event, organized to promote the documentary "The Silent Angels," was held. During the evening, President Raffaele Canneva of the Medical Care Award honored Viviana Monica CIRCHIANO, the cooperative's Medical and Emergency Area Coordinator, with the following citation: "She distinguished herself through her emergency work as an emergency doctor, saving the lives of many... with her professional determination, but also through providing free assistance to anyone in need without political, ideological, or religious discrimination. "With this award," said Chirchiano, "I hope that light, visibility, and hope will be given to healthcare professionals who, with their life testimony, can be an example to those approaching the world of human suffering." Each professional is rewarded for their outstanding work alongside them and for enforcing the law to protect citizens. A small army of healthcare workers—doctors, nurses, stretcher bearers, and many others—are at work in Italian hospitals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
