“We have a real angel in our family. We have always known it and today we have had further confirmation of it”. This was said by Miguel Angel Vargas, the father of Angel Micael Vargas Fernandez, the young man originally from Argentina who this morning in the Lodi area, in Casalmaiocco, saved the life of a child who was falling from the balcony of his home. “I have always tried – adds the parent – to instill Catholic values in him. We are very religious. My son Angel also attended a Catholic school run by nuns in Argentina when he was little. And when he arrived in Italy 12 years ago, he never forgot the teachings based on helping others. If friends or acquaintances call him at night who need help, he gets out of bed and goes to help them. He is a truly special son”, he concludes.
