Camorra, double murder at the barber: prison order for the Vanella Grassi leaders

The murder of Giuseppe Parisi and Giuseppe Ferraro marked the split from the Amato Pagato clan of the so-called 'girati' of via Vanella Grassi, determined to expand into the territories of Secondigliano where the 'Scissionisti' were doing business, mainly with drugs. This is what the Carabinieri and the DDA of Naples claim, who today notified new charges to the two bosses of via Vanella Grassi. They are Antonio Mennetta and Fabio Magnetti, believed to be the instigators, organizers and material executors of that double murder, which occurred in 2011, in a barber's shop in the Berlingieri district of Scampia. A targeted killing designed to oust the Amato-Paganos from the neighborhoods north of Naples: the shooter was Mennetta, who first hit Ferraro in the head and then killed Parisi as he ran away. The two then gave rise, a few months later, to the third Scampia feud, which saw them prevail over the Abete-Abbinante group.
