Casoria – The seminar on the role of the Independent Evaluation Body (OIV) in Local Authorities begins. The event, organized by the Italian Association of Chartered Accountants of North Naples and the OIV Commission of the Naples North County Board of Directors, will be held at the Casoria Municipal Library on October 4th. The committee will analyze the role of the Independent Evaluation Body (OIV) and its impact on local authorities. The event will be introduced by Dr. Giuseppe Vitagliano, President of the Italian Association of Chartered Accountants of North Naples. "The aim of the seminar is to provide professionals working in this sensitive area with practical/operational information and advice so they can approach their role with awareness of the challenges and responsibilities it entails. The OIV's task is to monitor the overall functioning of the evaluation system, the transparency and integrity of the institution's internal controls, and to prepare an annual report on its status, also formulating proposals and recommendations to administrative leaders," Vitagliano explains. "The OIV," he continues, "is responsible for the correct application of the guidelines, methodologies, and tools developed by the Department of Civil Service. It supports the administration on a methodological level and verifies the accuracy of the processes for measuring, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting organizational and individual performance. In particular, it formulates a binding opinion on the annual update of the Measurement and Evaluation System. It promotes the administration's use of the results of external evaluation activities and their impacts for the purposes of evaluating organizational performance." In addition to Dr. Vitagliano, the president of the order Antonio Tuccillo, the councilors Musto and Natale, the president of the OIV commission Granata.
