Carabinieri officers from the Aversa Carabinieri Mobile Radio Unit, along with colleagues from the Lusciano Station, arrested GC, 35, and MS, 19, both from Melito, in the Naples area, for receiving stolen goods and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. During a routine check on Via Cirignano, officers stopped two people traveling in a black Fiat 500. Due to the two men's unusual behavior, the Carabinieri decided to conduct a personal and vehicle search, which resulted in the seizure of a Bernardelli 68 6.35 caliber pistol, with its serial number removed and a round in the chamber, complete with a magazine containing five rounds and an additional thirteen rounds of the same caliber, hidden under the passenger seat of the car. A cash sum of €2.030 was also found and seized. The two men are under house arrest.
