The Bonavita brothers, arrested yesterday by the Guardia di Finanza on charges of bankruptcy, had also entered the world of professional football. In the first year of the return to Serie B of Juve Stabia branded Piero Braglia, they had become the main sponsor of the Castellammare team, also opening a store in the city center. Just one year of sponsorship and then disappeared. They boasted of dressing famous American rappers but also people like Mike Tyson and Fabrizio Corona. They had recently opened a store in Miami, Florida, with the presentation of famous American artists. Since yesterday, the brothers Giuseppe, Francesco and Umberto Bonavita, aged 45, 43 and 41 respectively, have been in prison, the first two of them living in Portici and the third in San Giovanni a Teduccio. The Guardia di Finanza under the coordination of the prosecutor Maria Sepe, deputy prosecutor Vincenzo Piscitelli, economic crime section of the Naples Prosecutor's Office has discovered the whirlwind two million euro hole and the company turnover made by the three brothers. The investigating judge Anna Tirone, who signed the precautionary orders, has ordered the daily obligation to sign for three women, accused of having acted as fronts for the management on paper of some of the companies that have come to the attention of the investigators. They are Rosa and Assunta Bonavita, aged 38 and 42, and Laura Scognamiglio, aged 41. The investigations have focused on 6 companies: Bonavita, Gfu, Hombre, Dako, Domino and Bona unipersonale, which is still operational (these last two were set up ad hoc after the organised bankruptcy of the first four).
