"The preliminary draft of the Domitian-Phlegraean Coast Masterplan is the first conclusion of a project involving entrepreneurial, social, and institutional forces, which will transform an area with the greatest development prospects in Campania and the South, creating between 20 and 30 jobs in a few years." This was stated in Castel Volturno by the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, who took part in the conference "The Domitian-Phlegraean Coast Masterplan. From the preliminary draft to the Integrated Development Program." The meeting was held at the "Aggregation and Legality Center," inaugurated today and located near the pine forest, where the "Participatory Planning Laboratory" is located. The laboratory will run throughout October with a packed program of meetings and events aimed at listening to and gathering interests, needs, and aspirations related to the Masterplan. De Luca hoped that the coast, with its 70 kilometers of flat shoreline, would become the "Romagna of the South."
