Brought to the fore by Anna Carrino, Aniello Bidognetti was heard before the Assize Court judges regarding the murders of Nicola Baldascini and Antonio Pompa, for which the Casalesi massacre killer, Giuseppe Setola, is on trial, defended by the lawyer Paolo Di Furia.
Aniello Bidognetti said he knew nothing about these two crimes which, according to Carrino's reconstruction, occurred after Salvatore Cantiello, known as Carusiello, split from the Bidognetti group and after a double ambush which, according to the collaborator of justice, targeted Setola and Aniello Bidognetti.
According to the reconstruction of the Anti-Mafia magistrates, the double homicide was decreed in prison by the boss Francesco Bidognetti, alias Cicciotto 'e Mezzanotte. The clan leader gave the order to kill from behind bars, during a conversation with his partner Anna Carrino (who pleaded guilty). It was the woman who acted as spokesperson for the order with Giuseppe Setola who carried out the murder by shooting the two with a 9X21 pistol.
But to shed light on these two murders, the prosecutor of the DDA present in the courtroom announced that in the next hearing (scheduled for November) the reports of the new collaborator of justice Raffaele Bidognetti will be filed, which could help shed light on these bloody events.
