Eni confirms that this morning at approximately 6:30 a.m., an explosion occurred in part of a line at the gasification plant at the Sannazzaro de' Burgondi refinery in the province of Pavia. The event had no consequences for the workers employed at the plant and generated some smoke that dissipated within ten minutes. No fire broke out. Once safety conditions were verified, the alarm was dismissed after approximately an hour. Damage assessments are underway. The refinery is operating normally.
