Castellammare. The deputy of the Mixed Group, Catello Vitiello, has announced an interrogation. Vitiello asks for "transparency on the commitments made" on the occasion of the launch of the ship "Trieste". On that occasion, the then Minister for Development and Labor, Luigi Di Maio, announced the allocation of 70 million euros for the adaptation of the Castellammare di Stabia shipyard to the needs of Fincantieri, which, in turn, would have made further investments to enhance the production capacity of the shipyard. The mayor of Castellammare di Stabia, Gaetano Cimmino, wrote to the Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luigi Di Maio, the Minister of Economic Development, Stefano Patuanelli, the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, the President of the Port, Pietro Spirito and the CEO of Fincantieri, Giuseppe Bono, to request "the establishment of a permanent technical table at the Ministry of Economic Development in order to prepare a coordinated action to guarantee investments" in the shipyard.
