"Certain rules and not improvised regulations, enabling taxpayers to be facilitated in tax and fiscal planning and professionals not to 'succumb' to so many obligations, which have often proved useless. These are the requests that accountants are making to the new Conte government and in particular to the Minister of Economy Gualtieri. Today, a concrete intervention on the ISA is needed, to be carried out quickly, to accommodate the needs of productive activities. We are facing a situation never seen before, with the introduction of new rules, a few weeks before the deadlines". Vincenzo Moretta, president of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Naples, said this while opening the forum "Growth Decree between lights and shadows: the ISA and the innovations in electronic invoicing". "The profession of accountant has become very difficult - underlined Francesca Giglio, president of the Direct Taxes and Indirect Taxes Commission -. We are 'overwhelmed' by deadlines that are often repetitive and useless. In addition, there is a lack of certain rules: we are faced with a real emergency. We also fear that the situation will not improve easily because we technicians are never seated at the decision-making table. The invitation is to implement a real tax simplification to help companies, professionals and the Revenue Agency". Maria Caputo, number one of young Neapolitan accountants, highlighted that unfortunately "for cash needs the rules are changed, confusion is created and laws that are disharmonious with each other are hastily approved. We ask for transparency and measures useful for cutting red tape to allow taxpayers to work, pay taxes and receive efficient services. The latest rule, that of the Synthetic Reliability Indexes, creates confusion and a misalignment of the work of professionals with politics. For weeks we have been shouting out loud that there is a need for a postponement, we hope that someone will listen to us". "We accountants work with rules that are too complex - observed Antonio Gigliotti, director of Fiscal Focus - and even today, a few weeks before the deadlines, clarifications continue to arrive. And yet, the taxpayer wants to pay taxes and the accountant wants to put him in the best conditions to do so: it is a simple system that however does not find the same clarity from the institutions, indeed it has been made more complex by the inclusion of the ISA". The meeting was attended by Daniele D'Ambrosio, vice president of the Direct Taxes and Indirect Taxes Commission; Paola Coppola, associate professor of Tax Law at the University of Naples "Federico II"; Vincenzo Tiby, councilor of the Odcec Naples; Renato Polise, president of the Procedural Legal IT Commission.
