The award ceremony for activists in the project Humanization of Medicine and Care was held in recent days at the headquarters of Medical Care in Naples, under the patronage of the Regional Council of Campania and the Municipality of Naples. The evening was organized to promote the documentary film 'The Silent Angels'. During the evening, the president of the Medical Care Award Raffaele Canneva awarded Carla Relli of the management staff of the co-op with the following motivation: for having dedicated her commitment to the values of freedom and social justice in defense of the fundamental rights of the human person. For having opposed those policies based exclusively on particular interests and contrary to the Common Good. For having dedicated herself to the marginalized and the weakest, making this action the center of her existence. "I am very honored to be here tonight," says Relli. "I dedicate this evening to all the volunteer workers who are the strength and heart of medical care. It is a privilege that few have. As long as I am here, I will continue my commitment to social issues and to honoring the mission of the co-op day after day. The reality of cooperatives and volunteer associations - added Carla Relli - which represent a precious network of solidarity, deserve more respect from the institutions. We ask entrepreneurs, the most fortunate people to support us and stay close to us. Tomorrow the spotlight will be off and we will forget what we said to each other. I ask you to reflect, to understand that our good is the good of all. We have beautiful projects in the pipeline, but to realize them we need support. Allow me to thank first of all, the Regional Council of Campania and the Municipality of Naples for the sensitivity shown and in supporting us for the late patronage granted.
