The 8th edition of ETHNOS, an international ethnic music festival scheduled in 29 municipalities in the province of Naples until September 21, presents the concert of SuRealistas on Saturday, September 20.30. The Argentine group will perform at XNUMX:XNUMX pm in Cercola in Piazza Libertà, exclusively for Campania at the festival directed by Gigi Di Luca.

The SuRealistas – a band that brings together three Argentine brothers and Italian musicians – is a musical journey full of original songs that are at the same time rooted in South American tradition, where Afro-Cuban rhythms and Andean cadences mix with the slang and humor of Buenos Aires.

After the release of their first album of unreleased material (2016), an artistic residency at Exwide in Pisa (2017-18) and a European tour between France, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and Germany, at the end of 2018, SuRealistas released their second album, “Canta”. An album of eleven tracks, the result of an ensemble that has been able to unite and highlight various artistic personalities, collaborating synergistically with prestigious guests and exceptional sound technicians. The release of the album is followed by a long tour around Europe (Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Germany and Belgium), unforgettable openings (at Wemblers and Grupo Compay Segundo) and the release of the second videoclip, “Vida mía”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ox4HMSMOCaA

The 22th edition of Ethnos continues with the concerts of Cesare Dell'Anna & Opa Cupa on Sunday 26nd September in Bacoli, Cafè Loti (Iran/Italy) in Torre Annunziata on 27th September, Lucia De Carvalho (Angola/France) in San Giorgio a Cremano on 28th September, the Duo Botasso and Simone Sims Longo in Massa Lubrense on 29th September. The grand finale on XNUMXth September with the concert of Teresa De Sio in San Giorgio a Cremano.
The Ethnos festival is conceived by La Bazzarra, organized by the Municipality of San Giorgio a Cremano, financed by the Campania Region, with the collaboration of the municipalities present in the project and local associations. All scheduled events have free admission until all seats are taken.
