IdeaChiara Onlus is a non-profit association founded in 2013 with the main purpose of carrying out assistance, training and support activities in favor of families with disabled people affected by serious or very serious pathologies. Above all, IdeaChiara Onlus, sensitizes the new and future generations to social issues using the artistic tool, presenting the problems in a light-hearted way and generating new ways of living them through a smile and serene acceptance.
Ideachiara was born from the will of the family of Michele Tarallo, president of the Committee and father of Chiara, born on December 14, 2008 and deceased on April 11, 2019. Chiara suffered from a serious brain injury and drug-resistant epilepsy. Chiara did not speak, did not walk, did not move intentionally. Every day she suffered from epileptic seizures for which the combination of drugs and rehabilitation therapies were only an apparent remedy. Despite this, Chiara Communicated.
The family with a disabled child is inevitably catapulted into new and unexpected social environments with which, willingly or unwillingly, they will have to relate and in the vast majority of cases will have to do so for the entire duration of the disabled person's life: daily attendance at rehabilitation centers for neuro-rehabilitative therapies, hospitalization or outpatient visits to hospitals and clinical-health facilities for specific pharmacological treatments, for periodic checks of the disabled person's clinical and psychological condition, as well as for necessary surgical interventions; and where they are present in the area, and the severity of the person allows it, attending recreational associations duly designed for the different types of disabilities. And among all the extraordinary contexts mentioned above there is an "ordinary" one par excellence, namely the School.
For these reasons and with these assumptions, IdeaChiara Onlus was born and operates, finally boasting a physical location within which to carry out the activities for which it is characterized. On September 30th, at 18.00:20 pm, in San Nicola la Strada in the province of Caserta (via IV Novembre XNUMX) “L'emozione non ha voce” will be inaugurated and at the same time registrations will be open for courses and workshops for children and teenagers, young people and adults.
Theatrical performances, theatrical workshops (including inclusive ones), creative writing courses, cinema courses, scenography workshops, theatrical costume workshops are planned.
