A gala evening will be held on Saturday, September 28th in Salerno, at 8:30 pm in the community center auditorium, featuring the second edition of the "Scena Teatro" award and the show "La Lupa," starring Antonello De Rosa and Nadia Rinaldi. Taking the stage to receive the prestigious award for her long and distinguished theatrical career is Sicilian actress Lucia Sardo, who also starred in films, notably for her powerful portrayal of Peppino Impastato's mother in Marco Tullio Giordana's "I cento passi." "This winter, Antonello came to the theater," says Lucia Sardo, "for a show called La Rondine, which continues to give me great satisfaction, and I honestly didn't expect to receive this award. We met, including Pasquale Petrosino, and after the compliments, we moved on to this very pleasant surprise of the Scena Teatro award. I've been to Salerno twice, I think, but I've never had the chance to get to know the city well. Those who work in theater are busy on stage and behind the scenes, so it's impossible to experience the beauty of a single city. I also staged one of my shows, after taking part in a Greek tragedy on a school tour, while this time, receiving an award, I hope to be able to dedicate myself to discovering the city as well. My advice to those who are approaching theater is very simple. I've had an academy in Sicily practically forever, and my advice is simple and good. It starts from my feelings: I need certain things, and I get them. I tell my students and anyone who wants to work in theater: take your time to discover your path, and once you've discovered it, It will be the easiest to follow. If we love a path, even the rocks will seem light to us. You have to love the theater and it is not necessary to love success, that is a consequence."
