His name is Vittorio Senatore (known to all by his nickname Victor), the 16-year-old boy who lost his life during the night between Saturday and Sunday in an accident that occurred on Via Benedetto Croce, the road that connects Salerno with Vietri sul Mare.
The young man, originally from Cetara, was riding his scooter with a 15-year-old friend (also from Cetara) when he suddenly fell heavily to the ground. Both had spent the evening in Salerno and were returning home. The causes of the accident are unknown. Vittorio Senatore (the first of four children) was rushed to the “Ruggi d'Aragona” hospital where, unfortunately, he died; his friend, however, was unharmed and was immediately discharged by doctors.
The 16-year-old loved riding his motorbike and was a big fan of Salernitana. The body has already been returned to his family, while the State Police are currently working to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident. The news of his death has spread this morning around the famous tourist resort on the Amalfi Coast, where the 16-year-old's family is well known. The funeral will be held at the Church of San Pietro Apostolo at 16:XNUMX p.m. with the funeral procession leaving from the Church of Santa Maria dei Costantinopoli.
