As part of the 11th Edition of “Le Muse Arte” of Capri, curated by Myriam Peluso, on September 2019, 18,30 at XNUMX:XNUMX pm in the Council Room of the Municipality of Capri, the presentation of the novel by Maria Teresa Cipri entitled “Uomini” will be held for the types of Graus Edizioni of Naples. The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Capri, the Rotary Club Isola di Capri and the FIDAPA Association
Maria Teresa Cipri, a versatile writer who has reached her fourth publication, after the success of Guerra d'amore – Alter Ego Edizioni, offers readers an original and somewhat extravagant text dedicated to figures of men of yesterday and today who, in different ways, have contributed to her intellectual education. In this narration, a river of stories, culture, wisdom and emotions blend together in a catalogue that tells the life, curiosities and most shamelessly human aspect of the protagonists. Among the many: Adam, the beginning; the father, the first true love of every daughter; Michelangelo Buonarroti, a timeless artist; Hans Christian Andersen, a brilliant and extravagant fabulist; Aldo Moro, an illustrious statesman delivered to a tragic fate. “Uomini” by Maria Teresa Cipri is a frank, intriguing, ironic, evocative and delicate saying that caresses and leaves a deep trace, a story on the move that runs through us, to the very end. A few months after its release, it has already won three important awards: the Medusa Aurea Trophy, the Sarzana City Award and the Pianeta Donna City of Montefiore Special Award.
We thank the Colavolpe Company for the kind gift of the products that will be distributed to those present. During the evening, a sculpture representing Bernardino Telesio will be donated to the Mayor and the President of the Rotary Club of the city of Capri, kindly offered by the “Scintille” Company of Cosenza.

Capri's iconic piazzetta is unusually empty: just a few tables, a few chairs, and a handful of bundled-up tourists. The uncertain weather, however, is playing in the azure island's favor, as it takes advantage of the opportunity to revamp its look for the warmer months. The streets, crowded in summer, are almost deserted: some are repainting their facades...

The sea around Capri is on the verge of enhanced protection. The Senate has unanimously approved the bill establishing a Marine Protected Area around the island, a long-anticipated measure that must now be considered by the Chamber of Deputies for final approval.

The text mandates the Ministry of the Environment to initiate, within six months of the law's entry into force, the technical investigation necessary to delimit and establish the area. This is a key step that will define the perimeter, levels of protection, and methods of use of one of the most famous and fragile stretches of sea in the Mediterranean.
