Maddalena from TV to chemotherapy, her desperate appeal

The promise of Italian music, singer and piano teacher, Maddalena Imperato, with a career that was beginning to shine with her first successes, unexpectedly and in the most painful way saw her dream interrupted and all her hopes of success dashed.
After her pregnancy, Maddalena discovers she has Hodgkin's lymphoma, a relatively rare tumor of the lymphatic system. Hence the long ordeal, the numerous hospitalizations, the radiotherapy that does not give appreciable results, and then now the chemotherapy with all the painful physical and moral consequences for this young mother.
The expensive treatments are not fully subsidized by the National Health Service: these are essential and very expensive dressings (IV fixation dressings with chlorhexidine gluconate, produced by Tegaderm CHG, ref 1657 R dimensions 8,5 x 11,5 or 1658 dimensions 10 x 12) therefore a drama within the drama: not only the serious illness but also the difficulty in raising the necessary funds to purchase these dressings, which are also difficult to find.

Immediate help came from Giorgio Contovas, the Lega di San Giorgio a Cremano representative, who immediately took action to provide an initial supply of medical supplies at his own expense to address this serious emergency.
