A 43-year-old Neapolitan man died in Fortaleza, Brazil, after falling into an elevator shaft in a building on Rua 25 de Março, where he lives with his wife, the beautiful Brazilian dancer Katthley Dantas, and their children. The victim, Giacomo Ajraldi, was 43 years old. Originally from the Chaia neighborhood, he was a hotel manager in the Brazilian tourist town. He had held the same job for years in Naples at several hotels along the seafront, and later in other parts of Italy. His death remains a mystery, and police have opened an investigation, as reported by Brazilian freelance journalist Flavio Alves, who broke the news. The tragedy is believed to have occurred Friday morning. According to initial reports, residents of the building heard the sound of Giacomo Ajraldi's body falling into the elevator shaft. They told police that the Neapolitan man had argued with his partner, causing screams to be heard in the house. Then the woman left, and the man, likely overcome by despair, began drinking alcohol. What happened next and how he fell into the elevator shaft will be determined by the Brazilian police investigation.
