movida partenopea (starting from Piazza Monteoliveto from 22 pm to midnight) to help young people understand the risks associated with the use of psychoactive substances. Together with them, as always, the operators of the Hybrid mobile team of the Addiction Department of the ASL Napoli 24 Centro (directed by Stefano Vecchio) will also be on the streets. The project implemented by the ASL is called “Safe and Quality Nights” which enriches the operational tools of the Hybrid service and is implemented with funds from the Campania Region. The idea was to train 1 mediators under 6 with experience in acting and street art who, with the director of the “Magnifico Visbaal Teatro” Theater Company, will perform alongside the Hybrid operators. In particular, it will be about evening and nighttime theater entertainment in the movida locations, creating new spaces for discussion on the various risks associated with the use of psychoactive substances through fun provocations, adopting a new communication model. These activities are aimed at supporting the work of reducing risks and damages to improve its effectiveness, towards safe and quality entertainment. Central objective: to promote the meeting between the needs of operators, residents and visitors aiming at sharing good practices to improve the liveability of urban spaces, the general well-being and health of those who live at night, in compliance with the rules of civil coexistence. The Addictions Department of the ASL Napoli 40 Centro through the Hybrid mobile team (directed by Chiara Cicala), belonging to the UOSD New Consumption Models, has been intervening for years in the contexts of the Neapolitan urban nightlife within which legal and illegal psychoactive substances are consumed. The Hybrid operators use a methodology, now also acquired at international and national level, which refers to the limitation of risks and which leverages
on the information and empowerment of young people and, in general, of people who frequent the city nightlife and who use psychoactive substances. In addition, the team carries out research-actions in various Neapolitan squares, aimed at acquiring knowledge on the continuous changes in the ways of consuming substances, which require direct involvement of the various recipients (people who frequent the movida, managers of venues, cultural operators, residents). Hybrid operators intervene through various tools including: - stalls set up on the street with information materials on how to evaluate and avoid the risks associated with the use of legal and illegal psychoactive substances. - organization, during large events, of "chill outs", spaces that welcome people in difficulty and in critical moments offering opportunities for relaxation, support for the person, counseling and possible orientation and accompaniment towards the other services of the ASL NA 1centro, carried out according to the orientations of international guidelines. The street activities for limiting risks, given the specificity and breadth of the movida context, introduce continuous innovations in the work, in constant comparison with the most significant experiences conducted in Italy and Europe, useful for making the actions more effective and achieving the related objectives. In recent years, several European experiences, in Paris and Barcelona, and in Italy in Florence, have carried out creative actions in nightlife locations with the involvement of street actors.
