Naples. While their other colleagues rest, they dedicate themselves to the poor and needy. They are two Neapolitan barbers, Raffaele Mormone and Nello Cormino, who for some time now have been going to the premises of the Mensa dei Poveri di Santa Lucia every Monday, during the closing day of their business, to lend a hand to the poor. They shave and do hair for the poor and needy. “We are here - they explain - where the Lord sends us. Because we are disciples and where the Lord tells us to go we go. We are obedient to his word and we go where our work is needed to help those who are in difficulty. It is Jesus who pushes us to do this. We thank Mrs. Dora who gives us the space to help these people who are in difficulty. We do it with all our heart because these people are abandoned by men but not by God”. For 10 years, the Mensa dei Poor of Santa Lucia has been helping the needy, the homeless and the homeless by distributing 60 meals for lunch every day and twice a week also for dinner thanks to the help of the entire community of the neighborhood and the parish priest, they also provide clothing.
