Naples, had almost 15 kilos of marijuana in his luggage: 30-year-old arrested in Piazza Garibaldi

Naples. The 30-year-old Nigerian arrested by the Carabinieri of the Stella operational unit has no criminal record. He was leaving the Piazza Garibaldi train station with a backpack and trolley in tow. The soldiers had been following him for a while, his obvious agitation had aroused their suspicions.
When they decided to stop him, the carabinieri searched his luggage and found 14,75 kilos of dried marijuana inside: most of the substance was already vacuum-packed in plastic bags.
The 30-year-old was taken to Poggioreale prison. He will have to answer for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
