Yet another stone-throwing attack on a public transport bus in Naples. This time the target was a bus on line 196, which runs from the Brin parking lot to the Conocall district of Ponticelli. According to what was reported by USB, the raid occurred around 23:XNUMX p.m., when there was no one on board: after stopping, the bus was hit by stones thrown by a group of very young people. The stones shattered a side window of the bus. The driver was forced to stop the journey and contact the company's operations center. The police intervened on site to carry out the necessary investigations. “This morning,” says Adolfo Vallini of USB, “more than a month after our request for a meeting, we were summoned by ANM to talk about prevention and safety at work, given the escalation of violence against operators and company vehicles, but our requests for the reinstatement of the ticket collector on board buses, the installation of anti-aggression booths and greater control of risk areas were not accepted by the company.”
