Naples, dozens of bags full of garbage abandoned on the seafront of via Caracciolo after the Pizza Fest

Naples. “Several people have reported the presence of numerous garbage bags piled up along Via Caracciolo, containing waste from the Pizza Fest. After the stands were dismantled, the bags were left there, under the eyes of tourists and Neapolitans. We wonder how such carelessness is possible. It seems obvious to us that, on the occasion of events of this kind, the garbage must be collected immediately. It is unacceptable that it is left for days under the eyes of passers-by. The Naples waterfront is one of the city's calling cards and presenting it in this way is unjustifiable”. This is what the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli, the host of “La Radiazza” on Radio Marte, said. “We have sent a note to Asia to ask them to remove those bags. We hope they disappear as soon as possible in order to restore decorum to a place that, by vocation, should represent all the beauty of our city”.
