Buffon: "Conte to Juve? At the moment he is only thinking about the Scudetto with Napoli, the rest are rumors"
Gianluigi Buffon, icon of Juventus and the National team, speaks again and does so on the day he receives the honorary plaque at the Coni Walk of Fame ceremony, celebrating a legendary career. But his gaze is not only turned to the past: the present has the face of Antonio Conte and a Napoli launched towards the dream of the Scudetto.
“Coaches like him always end up in the spotlight, especially from March onwards, it's normal that they are associated with important benches”, explained Buffon commenting on the rumours about a possible return of Conte to Juventus. "But I don't take anything for granted like some media do. Antonio, at this moment, has only one thing on his mind: the Scudetto with Napoli."
