Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Vicaria Mercato Police Station, during a judicial police operation, intervened in a commercial establishment on Via Cesare Rosaroll. The officers, thanks to the nose of “Kira” and “Nora”, anti-drug dogs from the General Prevention Office’s Canine Unit, found 4,6 kg of opium poppy bulbs stored in a bag hidden in a false ceiling of the premises. In the shop, officers stopped Adnan Dastgir Khan, a 39-year-old Pakistani, who was arrested for possession of narcotics.
