A brief and informal ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Local Police Corps Command of the Municipality of Naples to hand over the Italian flag donated by the sports paratroopers of the sports association “Paracadutisti Napoli asd” to the guardians of law and order of the capital of Campania. A small delegation of Neapolitan sports paratroopers led by President Francesco Esposito visited General Ciro Esposito with the aim of handing the tricolour directly into the hands of the high official. Also present at the meeting was city councillor Marco Nonno, in his capacity as a member of the Neapolitan sports association. The homage paid to the Local Police of the Municipality of Naples, enthusiastically accepted by Commander Esposito, underlined the spirit of patriotism and closeness to the institutions and life of the city that the Neapolitan sports paratroopers' association has always demonstrated. Feelings of moral, social and civic commitment that the Neapolitan sports paratroopers wish to reiterate with this gift of great symbolic value. The donated flag will replace the one currently flying at the Naples Local Police Headquarters in Via De Giaxa.
