Naples, President Mattarella fascinated by the Palatine Chapel at the Royal Palace

Naples. Before leaving the Royal Palace, President Sergio Mattarella, accompanied by Naples Mayor Luigi de Magistris and Antonio D'Amato, the head of the Knights of Labor, paid a brief visit to the Royal Palace. "He was fascinated by the Palatine Chapel and other works of art he paused to admire," Mayor de Magistris reported, "and once again had extraordinarily flattering words for the city. I would like to thank him for returning to Naples after a week. He is also scheduled to be present next Saturday in Portici and on November 4th for the celebrations for the armed forces. All this attention from the President to Naples confirms that the city can play a leading role in building the new Europe." Upon his arrival at the Royal Palace, Mattarella was greeted with a prolonged applause from the audience of Knights of Labor: "Thank you for your contribution to spreading Italy's image around the world," were the words with which Antonio D'Amato welcomed him. “I can only say,” commented the former president of Confindustria at the end of the tour inside the Palace after the event, “that he was happy to come to Naples.”
