Naples. Tension erupted this morning at the Fuorigrotta cemetery between relatives of a deceased young man and municipal employees assigned to bury his remains. An aunt of Emanuele Aliota, the 22-year-old from the Sanità neighborhood killed on the night of July 22, 2013, climbed onto the cemetery's office building and threatened to jump. Carabinieri officers are on the scene and are attempting to calm the situation. The protest stemmed from municipal employees' refusal to exhume the young man's body. A certificate was missing, and when the relatives returned with it, "they told us it was too late and that we could no longer exhume the body," they explained. They then added: "They've been taunting us for a few days and keep putting us off. We demand respect for the rules and for our dear departed."
