Naples. Five young people were seriously injured last night in a car accident in Fuorigrotta. "We are awaiting the results of the breathalyzer tests and have also acquired video footage to assess the situation," explained Commander Antonio Muriano of the Naples Municipal Police, regarding the serious accident involving the five young Neapolitans, some of whom have also previously appeared on television shows. They are Eleonora Rocchini (pictured), a former Mediaset contestant, and Dalida Branzani, the sister of tronista Oscar, who sustained the most injuries and is now in a reserved condition at the Cardarelli Hospital. Their friend Nunzio Moccia also appeared on television, while the other two injured women are Maddalena Ferrara and Annalisa D'Errico.
According to the reconstruction of the Municipal Police, the young people's car crashed into some poles and a road sign; the friends were traveling on board a BMW and had just exited the tunnel of the Claudio underpass. The 24-year-old who was driving the vehicle (the young man has a 40-day prognosis), lost control of the car due to high speed. The most serious is a 35-year-old woman, now in reserved prognosis; the other occupants of the car (two girls and a boy) suffered minor injuries. The cause could be found in the driver's state of drunkenness but it is not excluded that the passengers could also have been in the same condition. The BMW was seized, the driver reported. In the car the officers found bottles of spirits.
