The new locker rooms at the Stadio San Paolo are ready to welcome the coach and players of Napoli and Sampdoria tomorrow for the first home match of the newly started championship. After the controversy of the past few hours between the club and the administration, the work has been completed. The new video surveillance system, a network of 190 high-definition cameras with long-range facial recognition, is also ready for operation. Fully on schedule, these two projects add to the complex restyling and renovation work that the Regional Agency for the Universiade, with funding from the Campania Region, has undertaken for the Stadio San Paolo for the Universiade. The Campania Region has invested over €22 million to renovate the Fuorigrotta facility, which hosted the NAPLES 2019 athletics competitions last July. Before installing the changing rooms and video surveillance system, work continued nonstop for months, replacing the seats, constructing the new athletics track—which was immediately available for training—completing the new audiovisual and lighting systems, and upgrading the restrooms and first aid stations.
This afternoon, the extraordinary commissioner of the Universiade, Gianluca Basile, the president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, the chief of staff of the Municipality of NAPLES Attilio Auricchio and the president of NAPLES, Aurelio De Laurentiis, visited the San Paolo to ascertain the state of the facility. “We have also respected the commitments and deadlines made from the very beginning for the renovation of the changing rooms,” said Basile. “The images of the state of degradation in which the facility was before the Universiade leave no room for doubt: thanks to the Universiade, we have given the city and the Neapolitans a completely renovated stadium that has nothing to envy of other international-level facilities. I would like to thank,” concluded Basile, “the technicians and experts of the Region, the Universities of Campania, the Municipality, and the Public Works Department who worked in full collaboration, under the aegis of the commissioner structure, to achieve this important result.”

Criminal power in Naples and its province doesn't stop at prison. It spreads through illegal smartphones, feeds on "messages" delivered by trusted cellmates, and consolidates through cross-party alliances between clans distant from each other but united by their shared prison life.
