A large fire broke out in Sant' Antonio Abate in via Nocerelle, on the border with the Municipality of Santa Maria la Carita', is causing alarm among the populations of the surrounding towns. A high black cloud is darkening the sky over the houses and, pushed by the wind, has reached as far as Castellammare di Stabia. What caught fire, around 11, was a very large greenhouse setup of the horticultural company "La Rosa". The flames are destroying the plastic covering of the structures. Dozens of photos and some videos have been published on social networks by alarmed residents. The concern is above all for the sick and children forced to breathe the smoke that is spreading in the air and for the large number of tumor diseases that the inhabitants of Sant'Antonio Abate have been complaining about for some time, with every family affected.
