The Premio Bianca d'Aponte di Aversa, the only Italian competition reserved for female singer-songwriters, reaches an important milestone with its fifteenth edition. This year it will be held at the Teatro Cimarosa in Aversa on October 25 and 26, under the artistic direction of Ferruccio Spinetti. As always, the event will feature a first-rate cast, with prominent names on the Italian scene, some of whom have already been present in previous years, others at their first time at the d'Aponte, such as Enzo Gragnaniello, who will take to the stage alternating with the contest finalists.
On Friday 25th it will be the turn of the couple formed by Cristina Donà & Ginevra Di Marco and Giuseppe Anastasi, Gabriele Avogadro, Tony Canto, Kaballà and Pilar. Last year's winner, Francesca Incudine, will also be there to open the evening.
In the Saturday cast, in addition to Gragnaniello, a series of important returns such as Rossana Casale, Elena Ledda, Mauro Palmas, Carlo Marrale and Mariella Nava, and also the collective AdoRiza. But Saturday will also be the turn of the godmother of this edition, Tosca, who in addition to presiding over the jury will perform “Anima scalza”, a song by Bianca d'Aponte, the singer-songwriter who died prematurely to whom the festival is dedicated. The two evenings will be presented by Carlotta Scarlatto and Ottavio Nieddu.
The nerve center of the event will, as always, be the competition, which will see on stage Eleonora Betti from Arezzo, Chiara Bruno from Palermo, Chiarablue from Rieti, Rebecca Fornelli from Bari, Jole from Manfredonia (Foggia), Martina Jozwiak from Ancona, Lamine from Trapani, La Tarma from Reggio Emilia, Giulia Ventisette from Florence, Cristiana Verardo from Lecce.

The absolute winner will receive a 1000 euro scholarship offered by the Doc Servizi cooperative, including membership to the cooperative, consultancy and tutelage. For the Fausto Mesolella Award, the scholarship will be 800 euros. There will also be mentions for best text, best music and best interpretation.
Also this year the contest will give the right to a tour of eight concerts realized thanks to the NuovoImaie (project realized with the funds of art.7 L. 93/92) and reserved to the winner or, in the absence of the requirements requested by the NuovoImaie, to one of the other finalists.
