After announcing the ten finalists of the singer-songwriter contest, now reaching the important milestone of its fifteenth edition, the "Bianca d'Aponte Award" has announced the first guests for the final evenings of the event, scheduled for the Teatro Cimarosa in Aversa on October 25th and 26th. Ginevra Di Marco and Cristina Donà, both already patrons of the Campania-based event and currently on tour and releasing an album together, will perform on the opening night, Friday the 25th. Joining them on stage will be Sicilian singer-songwriter and producer Toni Canto and Roman performer and singer-songwriter Pilar. As previously announced, this year's patron will be Tosca, who will preside over the judging panel and perform a song by Bianca d'Aponte, the singer-songwriter to whom the festival is dedicated, who passed away prematurely. Last year's winner, Francesca Incudine, will also be present, while Carlotta Scarlatto and Ottavio Nieddu will present. Many other guests will be announced in the coming weeks. The heart of the event, as always, will be the competition, which this year features Eleonora Betti from Arezzo with "Quaranta volte," Chiara Bruno from Palermo with "Ammazziamo questi padri," Chiarablue from Rieti with "DueAgostoMillenovecentottanta," Rebecca Fornelli from Bari with "Quello che ci manca," Jole from Manfredonia (Foggia) with "The Tourist and the Gondolier in the Glass Snow Globes," Martina Jozwiak from Ancona with "Scrivimi," Lamine from Trapani with "Penna Bic," La Tarma from Reggio Emilia with "Luigi Signolo Meccanico," Giulia Ventisette from Florence with "La bellezza," and Cristiana Verardo from Lecce with "Non posso sapere."
There will be two main awards. One is the absolute prize, the Bianca d'Aponte Prize; the other is the critics' prize, dedicated to Fausto Mesolella, the event's historic artistic director, who was succeeded by Ferruccio Spinetti. This year too, the contest will entitle the participants to a tour of eight concerts, organised thanks to NuovoImaie (a project funded by art. 7 of Law no. 93/92) and reserved for the winner or, in the absence of the requirements requested by NuovoImaie, for one of the other finalists. The ten competing singer-songwriters were selected by the large and varied Committee of Guarantee of the Award, made up of 75 journalists, industry professionals, producers, authors and musicians, among the most important in the Italian music world. The members included: Giuseppe Anastasi (singer-songwriter), Roberta Balzotti (RAI Tgr), Giuseppe Barbera (musician and composer), Fabrizio Basso (SkyTg24), Tony Bungaro (singer-songwriter), Lino Cannavacciuolo (musician), Rossana Casale (singer-songwriter), Valentina Casalena Parodi (Andrea Parodi Award), Marco Cavalieri (Romasuona.it), Mimì Ciaramella (musician and composer), Angiola Codacci Pisanelli (L'Espresso), Enrica Corsi (Bindi Award), Giorgiana Cristalli (Ansa), Paola Cuniberti (manager), Alfredo D'Agnese (D La Repubblica delle donne), Enrico de Angelis (journalist and song historian), Mauro De Cillis (Rai Isoradio), Sergio Delle Cese (Antenna Music Factory booking), Giuliano Delli Paoli (Ondarock.it), Luca Del Muratore (Locusta booking), Ginevra di Marco (singer-songwriter), Cristina Donà (singer-songwriter), Cecilia Donadio (Tgr Campania), Salvatore Esposito (Blogfoolk), Isabella Fava (Donna Moderna), Cinzia Fiorato (Tg1), Angelo Franchi (record producer), Enrico Gabrielli (composer and arranger), Marco Gallorini (Woodworm management), Angela Garofalo (Cronache di Caserta e Napoli), Massimo Germini (musician and composer), Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi (singer-songwriter), Nicola Iuppariello (DiscoDays), Kaballà (singer-songwriter), Saverio Lanza (musician and producer), Elena Ledda (singer-songwriter), Petra Magoni (singer-songwriter), Elisabetta Malantrucco (RadioRai), Nino Marchesano (La Repubblica Napoli), Carlo Marrale (singer-songwriter), Bruno Marro (singer-songwriter), Alberto Menenti (author), Andrea Mirò (singer-songwriter), Michele Monina (music critic), Mariella Nava (singer-songwriter), Martina Neri (Leavemusic), Michele Neri (Vinyl), Luca Nottola (Arealive booking), Francesco Paracchini (lisolachenoncera.it), Paolo Pasi (Tg3), Duccio Pasqua (RaiRadio1), Diego Paura (Il Roma), Fausto Pellegrini (Rainews24), Timisoara Pinto (RaiRadio1), Alessia Pistolini (music critic), Francesco Raiola (Fanpage), Antonio Ranalli (Musicalnews), Alfredo Rapetti Mogol (lyricist), Gianfranco Reverberi (musician and composer), Paolo Romani (promotion manager), Ivan Rufo (Botteghe d'Autore Festival), Giordano Sangiorgi (patron of the Mei), Brunella Selo (singer-songwriter), Corrado Sfogli (musician and composer), Riccardo Sinigallia (singer-songwriter and producer), Marcella Sullo (Gr1 Rai), Paolo Talanca (music critic), Tiziana Tosca Donati (singer-songwriter), Roberto Trinci (Sony), Fausta Vetere (singer-songwriter), John Vignola (RaiRadio1), Franco Zanetti (director of rockol.it), Matteo Zanobini (Picicca management), Dario Zigiotto (cultural operator), Maria Cristina Zoppa (RadioRai).
