Postal police officers in Salerno are scouring the internet to try to piece together the story of videos recorded in classrooms at the Regina Margherita High School in Salerno and circulated online. The images, published online and quickly going viral, depict a teacher clearly struggling to manage her class, being mocked and taunted by students during class roll call. Another video shows a hooded boy approaching the teacher's desk. The case is now being investigated by postal police officers, who are studying the file, analyzing online activity and movements. These investigations are necessary to identify the person who posted the images, which have caused great resentment in the school system. The videos reportedly surfaced last weekend but date back to last year. School principal Angela Nappi has launched an internal investigation to try to clarify what happened, interviewing students and parents and convening a class council meeting last Monday to discuss "verification and decisions regarding the viral video of September 14, 2019." The Regional School Office is also closely monitoring the matter and intends to investigate. Disciplinary action may be taken against the student who used his cell phone during school hours. But the question remains, above all, who shared those videos online.
