"We remind the citizens of Ercolano that the deposit of unsorted waste is scheduled by calendar on Friday evening, from 20:24 p.m. to midnight. The collection, always according to the provisions of the current calendar, is carried out by the operators on Saturday morning, a service always carried out punctually. Therefore, the piles of garbage present in the territory are exclusively the result of an uncontrolled deposit of waste in breach of the mayoral ordinance and therefore of the calendar that the company respects to the letter". This is what Buttol Srl specifies regarding the protest of some residents of Corso Resina in Ercolano.
"It is incorrect to 'cry out' about the lack of collection in this case, because the operations are carried out punctually according to the door-to-door rules. Protesting against the company or against the operators is unfair, rather those citizens who do not respect the rules and abandon waste at any time and on any day of the week should be warned. In recent weeks, Buttol has also reiterated with a public manifesto (which we attach) the need to carry out correct separate waste collection, in a difficult moment for the plant in Campania, with the Stir that need maintenance and increasingly long queues to deliver unsorted waste. The attitude of the bag-handlers certainly does not help to overcome these difficulties, indeed it risks further aggravating the delicate situation of disposal in our region".
