Pupi Avati will be the guest of honor at the Naples Film Festival tomorrow, Thursday, September 26 at 21,15:8 p.m. at the Cinema Vittoria in Via Piscicelli, 6 (admission €21). At the meeting with the public hosted by Marco Lombardi, the Master of Italian cinema will collect the Lifetime Achievement Award for the XNUMXst edition of the event directed by Mario Violini. The screening of “Il Signor Diavolo” will follow, marking Avati's return to the horror genre.
In the afternoon, director Gianfranco Pannone will talk about his documentary film “Scherza coi fanti”, directed with Ambrogio Sparagna and applauded at the Venice Giornate degli Autori (19 pm – Institut Francais, Via Francesco Crispi, 86, free admission). The meeting, hosted by journalist Stefano Amadio, is in collaboration with the Master in Cinema and Television of the Suor Orsola Benincasa University.

For “Focus 2019-19: The Fall of the Berlin Wall” the film “Sonnenallee” by Leander Haussman (31 pm, Goethe-Institut Neapel – Vico Santa Maria a Cappella Vecchia, 1959 – free admission). “Hiroshima mon amour” by Alain Resnais will be the film of the “Autor de 20,30…la Nouvelle Vague” festival at 5,00 pm at the Institut Francais (single seat €4,00 – Reduced €XNUMX).
Cinema delle Palme (Via Vetriera, 12) will host the screenings of the short films and documentaries competing in the SchermoNapoli competition section.
