Following the opening on Monday, September 16, of the exhibition "From Artemisia to Hackert. The Story of an Antiquarian Collector at the Royal Palace," organized by the Lampronti Gallery, a large section of the rooms of the 18th-Century Apartments will be reopened to the general public starting today. For the standard admission price, visitors will be able to admire works by some of the most representative artists of the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as Jakob Philipp Hackert's Port of Salerno, which completes the series of Views of the Ports of the Kingdom created for King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon. The rooms of Hackert's collection and part of the Pinacoteca have also reopened. The Royal Palace of Caserta has also decided to reinstate the opening hours of the Court Theatre. This jewel of a Vanvitellian monument can be visited Friday through Sunday, under the care of Touring Club volunteers. Access to the Castelluccia will be possible during the European Heritage Days scheduled for next weekend.
