Roccarainola. The "Trees for the Future" initiative, promoted by M5S MP Luigi Iovino, will also be held in Roccarainola under the patronage of the municipal administration. In anticipation of National Tree Day, which is celebrated as usual on November 21st, the event aims to raise awareness among residents, especially younger generations, of the value of environmental protection through urban forestry. The event, open to residents and associations, is scheduled for Saturday, September 21st, starting at 10:00 a.m. The plantings—carried out with the support of San Paolo Belsito MP Luigi Iovino—will take place on Via San Nicola, near the San Giovanni 1 Comprehensive Institute, through the planting of around twenty holm oak trees.
"It is necessary to start again from these small gestures - says the young Deputy - to send a signal of sensitivity towards the environment and attention towards urban spaces. Just as it is essential to stimulate participation and, at the same time, develop a civic conscience in the citizen thanks to initiatives of this kind. I thank the municipal administration and the citizens for having shown availability and interest, a synergy that I hope can also develop in other municipalities of the Nola area and that will allow us to replicate these initiatives"
