“The emergency of wheel thefts in Naples continues, the spiral seems to have no end. In the last weekend alone, several cases have been reported to us. The latest, in chronological order, occurred in via Jannelli, in the hilly area of the city. It is a transversal problem that affects practically all neighborhoods. From Rione Alto to Fuorigrotta, passing through Vomero and the area of Piazza Garibaldi, there are dozens of motorists who, in the morning, have found that they were left without wheels. Needless to say, the economic damage is significant”. This is what the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli said. “Unfortunately, wheel thefts are nothing more than yet another testimony to the lack of controls during the night hours. We have been calling for new units to be sent to Naples for some time. From the former Interior Minister Salvini, we have only received promises that have remained such. From the new Minister Lamorgese, we expect a different attitude and greater attention to the problems of the city”.
