Salerno. 40-year-old man from Salerno reported for possession of knuckle dusters and a baseball bat. Yesterday afternoon, State Police officers from the General Prevention Office – Flying Squad, as part of the intensified territorial patrols ordered by the Salerno Police Chief, reported a man found in possession of an aluminum baseball bat and a steel knuckle duster. A patrol car from the Flying Squad, traveling along Via Unità d'Italia, ordered a car to stop. The car was driven by a 40-year-old man, later identified as SG, with a long police record and subject to the preventive measure of a verbal warning. The driver showed signs of nervousness and impatience, so the officers proceeded with a personal search, which returned negative results.
