With the Champions League spell behind them, following a draw at the Wanda Metropolitano against Atlético Madrid, Juventus is back in Serie A. At 6:00 PM, newly promoted Hellas Verona, coached by Ivan Juric, will arrive at the Allianz Stadium, marking Maurizio Sarri's first competitive match in his new home. Against Napoli, the Tuscan coach had led the team from the bench due to his ongoing battle with pneumonia. This Juventus side could field several new faces, starting with Paulo Dybala in attack replacing Gonzalo Higuain. But there could be some changes in goal with Buffon, while in defense, Cuadrado will be dropped to fullback to give Alex Sandro a rest, and Demiral will replace one of Bonucci or De Ligt. In midfield, the injured Pjanic could be rested, with Bentancur favored to replace him. Speaking at a press conference, Sarri clarified when asked about the state of assimilation of his principles: "The team is already doing a lot of what we practice in training, but if we think we'll see Napoli again, we'll probably never see them. Juve belongs to the players, the biggest mistake would be to make them play against their characteristics," he explained. He then added: "Let's see the situation, because we'll only have one training session. In Italy, we're obsessed with rotation; last year in England I played over 60 games, and there are teams that do everything with 14 players. Here, perhaps, we're spending more mental energy than physical energy." "Right now, the team needs to find a strong organization, and it can only do that by providing consistency in certain positions," he added. Regarding the possible inclusion of Dybala, Sarri said: "If I hadn't seen him ready, I wouldn't have brought him in at a crucial moment. He may not be at his best yet, but he's capable of playing and helping out." One player who will certainly be left out of the rotation is Cristiano Ronaldo, who will play tomorrow. "In the last match in Madrid, he played significantly more balls than last year's average. We always expect a lot from him: I have a feeling he can grow, just as the team can," said Sarri. "Bernardeschi hasn't yet made an impact with his abilities, we'll try to develop him so he can express himself to his full potential. His future specialization will be more as a midfielder than as a winger," he continued, referring to the Tuscan striker. Regarding possible rotations, Sarri said: "Ramsey has made significant progress, and Rabiot is also recovering. In this cycle, there will be room for both. Then there are important roles, like Matuidi, who is good when he has to move defensively from a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formation up front."
