A fatal accident occurred this morning on the Appia in Maddaloni, in the hamlet of Montedecoro, shortly after 6:XNUMX. A fatal impact between a Fiat Punto and a four-wheeled Ape car, costing the life of the driver of the latter vehicle.
The collision, the dynamics of which are still unclear, occurred near a gas station. The man driving the Ape car died almost instantly, while the driver of the Fiat Punto was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The Carabinieri of the local Company intervened on site to carry out surveys and manage traffic. The load of fruit contained in the Apecar spilled onto the roadway.
