The gala evening of the second edition of the 2019 “Scena Teatro” award was presented this morning in the Sala Giunta of the Municipality of Salerno. The event, scheduled for Saturday 28 September at 20.30:XNUMX pm at the Auditorium of the Social Centre, is organised by the Associazione Scena Teatro with the patronage of the Municipality of Salerno and the Department of Youth Policies. The gala evening will kick off with the show “La Lupa”, the novel by Giovanni Verga, featuring director and actor Antonello De Rosa and Roman actress Nadia Rinaldi, and fifty interns. At the end of the performance, the awards will be presented, all female and for the theatrical commitment shown throughout a long and fruitful theatrical career, to Lucia Sardo, Vladimir Luxuria, Giò di Sarno, Margherita Rago and Nadia Rinaldi. Special guest, the artist Mara Keplero. Mariarita Giordano, Councilor for Youth Policies of the Municipality of Salerno, spoke at the presentation press conference: “Events of this kind confirm how much the city of Salerno and the administration are alongside culture, but above all how much sacrifice there is behind such work by the protagonists. Scena Teatro is an organization that has been a protagonist for a long time, especially in the social sphere. An important and fruitful work that must be supported with great determination”; Antonello De Rosa, artistic director of the Scena Teatro Association and of the award: “We are happy to continue this work and to be present on Saturday with the show La Lupa and the all-female Scena Teatro award. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart, especially the fifty interns who work with me. Theatre is life and we try to be protagonists in this sense. It will be fantastic to share the stage with Nadia Rinaldi and the five actresses who will receive the award: Lucia Sardo, Valdimir Luxuria, Giò Di Sarno, Margherita Rago and Nadia herself”; and Pasquale Petrosino, organizational director of the Associazione Scena Teatro: “It is always a great honor to organize these events that bring prestige to our city and to the theater. Behind the scenes there is a lot of excitement and we can't wait to get to the conclusion to understand how much good has been done." The conference was also attended by Rosa Barra, head of “Rosa Barra Event”, whose work involved the organizational process of the red carpet for the evening of Saturday 28 September. From the 30th, instead, space will be given to the 16th year of life of the Scena Teatro theatre laboratory with over two hundred students: also in the heart of the old city, precisely at the former Church of Sant'Apolonnia, from the first Thursday of October. A barrier-free laboratory, for ages five to ninety-nine, ready to welcome the disabled. Without forgetting the projects that concern social issues, with the Icatt of Eboli in the foreground, where Antonello De Rosa teaches theatre and organizes shows within the facility with the inmates, and the Uildm of Salerno
