And in a brusque manner he asks him to open the cash register to see the takings. Antonino D'Elia, 34, from Eboli, already known to the police force, had not counted on the resistance of the Asian citizen. In the meantime, a Chinese woman arrives, who speaks good Italian. The fake policeman sees himself trapped, takes a knife that is in the same building on via Paola Baratta, and points the blade at the throat of the latest arrival. He snatches her bag and runs away. This is what happened in a few minutes in the massage center. In the meantime, the report of the robbery in progress reaches the switchboard of the local police station, headed by deputy commissioner Lorena Cicciotti. The patrol cars present in the area are diverted to the scene. The police officers manage to identify the robber who, in the meantime, had tried to hide in the side streets behind the Salus Clinic. The man was stopped and taken to the offices of the police station on Via Rosa Jemma. The officers did not recover the stolen goods, however. The man from Eboli was recognized by the victim who pointed him out without any hesitation. The prosecutor on duty at the Salerno prosecutor's office gave the order to arrest him for serious bodily harm.
